"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25
It is important that our children have the foundation needed to come to know Jesus as their personal Savior, forgiver and friend. Our goal at First Bastrop is to give each child the tools necessary to grow spiritually and develop a true, relationship with Him.
“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark 10:14-15
We understand that the choices our young people make today will affect the trajectory of the rest of their life. With the many challenges they are faced with on a daily basis, it is imperative that we are building them a biblical framework that will carry them well beyond their years of adolescence. At First Bastrop, we work diligently to instill in each of our students a biblical worldview that is essential to living a life that glorifies God and testifies to the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through weekly bible-studies, missions, retreats, evangelism, camps, and a variety of other events and opportunities we are not only raising up the next generation of disciples but we are raising up the next generation of disciple-makers.
At First Bastrop Women's Ministries we encourage women to connect with Jesus, one another, and their world. We seek to learn more about Jesus through Bible studies and retreats. We make connections with one another through fellowship, and we seek to love our world through mission projects.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self- discipline."
2 Timothy 1:7
First Bastrop's Men's Ministry provides group Bible studies, fellowships, churchwide activities, events, and conferences to equip the men of First Bastrop and their friends for their roles as Christians.
