Love God: Gospel-Centered Living.
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, absorbing the wrath of God against our sin, to reconcile us to God and was raised again guaranteeing a new life in Him for all who believe. The way to restoring our lives and our families is to turn away from our self-serving, world-centered lifestyles, experience the transforming power of the gospel, and surrender our lives to Christ.
Love One Another: Gospel-Centered Community.
We believe that Christ also died to reconcile us to one another. The church is a new creation in Christ. Each member is equipped, by the Holy Spirit, with gifts in order that we may serve one another and so that the whole body might function and grow together in Christ. We are to love one another, bear one another’s burdens, and stir up one another to love and good works.
Love Our World: Gospel-Centered Outreach.
We believe that God loves the world and seeks to save the lost through the hope of the gospel. As His church, we are called to be beacons of that hope as we love our world through relevant acts of service, both locally and globally, with the ultimate goal of sharing the gospel and seeing people transformed into fully functional followers of Jesus Christ.
BIBLE TEACHING
We believe Holy Scripture is God’s authoritative revelation and must be taught in such a way that the lost might come to know Christ and Christians might grow in their relationship with Him by submitting themselves to His authority.
(Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 3:16; Philippians 4:2; Hebrews 4:12)
PRAYERFUL DEPENDENCE
We believe the peace and power of God comes by submitting everything to Him in humble prayer and are committed to diligent prayer in private devotions, community gatherings, and corporate worship.
(Mark 11:17; Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
AUTHENTIC WORSHIP
We believe God alone is supreme in value and worth and, therefore, desire to express our praise and thanksgivings to Him through authentic and celebratory worship.
(Deuteronomy 6:5; John 4:23-24; Philippians 3:8; Philippians 4:4)
GENUINE COMMUNITY
We believe the gospel brings the lost back into a relationship with God and others and so desire to live in genuine community with one another, loving one another, bearing one another’s burdens, and encouraging one another as we grow in the faith with one another.
(John 13:34-35; Romans 12:3-8; Ephesians 4:1-16)
GENEROUS GIVING
We believe all good things are graciously given to us by God and wish to bless others with God’s grace through generous giving, helping meet the genuine needs of those God has placed before us starting in the church and extending to our community and our world.
(Matthew 22:39; Acts 20:35; 2 Corinthians 8:1-2; Galatians 6:10)
MISSION MOBILITY
We believe Christ commissioned His Church to make disciples of all nations and are committed to making disciples in our local community, our region, and around the world through personal evangelism and the mobilization of missionaries.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
